EMA Annual General Meeting 2026

Members are invited to the 2026 Annual General Meeting of the Employers & Manufacturers Association (Northern) Inc.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Members are invited to stay for refreshments.

 

AGENDA

•  Apologies

•  Confirmation of the Minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on 25 November 2025 (Minutes to be tabled)

•  Matters arising from the Minutes

•  Presentation and adoption of the Annual Report and Financial Statements for the year ended 30 June 2026

•  Appointment of the auditor

•  Election of the President in accordance with rule 33.2 of the Constitution

•  Election of Board Members in accordance with rules 33 and 58.3 of the Constitution

•  General business

 

NOMINATIONS

The nomination form for the offices of President and Board Member is available here.

Each nomination must:

• Be made in writing.
• Be accompanied by the nominee's written consent to act as an Officer.
• Include written certification that the nominee is not disqualified from being elected or appointed as an Officer.

The Consent and Certificate of Officer form is available here.

Completed nomination documents must be received by the Association no later than Wednesday, 28 October 2026.

 

VOTING AND PROXIES

A Member entitled to attend and vote may appoint an eligible proxy to attend and vote on the Member's behalf where voting is conducted by ballot.

The prescribed proxy form, together with a list of candidates for office, will be sent to Members not less than seven days before the meeting.

The results of any ballot conducted at the Annual General Meeting will be made available to Members and published on the Association's website at www.ema.co.nz as soon as practicable following the counting of votes.
