Leadership Under Pressure with All Whites Icon Ricki Herbert

What a successful Waikato business and elite sport can teach leaders about building teams, making difficult decisions and performing under pressure.

Description

What Elite Sport Can Teach You About Leading High-Performing Teams

When the stakes are high, talent alone isn't enough.

The best leaders know how to create clarity, build belief, develop talent and make difficult decisions when the pressure is on.

Join former All White, FIFA World Cup coach and high-performance leader Ricki Herbert for an exclusive leadership session exploring the lessons elite sport can teach modern business leaders.

The Challenge

Whether you're leading a business, a project, or a team, the questions are the same:

  • How do you get talented people aligned behind one goal?
  • How do you maintain standards when pressure increases?
  • How do you make tough decisions that others may not agree with?
  • How do you develop future leaders while delivering results today?
  • How do you build a culture that performs consistently?

These are the same challenges faced by elite coaches every day. The difference is that in sport, the scoreboard tells the truth

What You'll Learn

  • Align High Performers ➜ Turn individual talent into collective success.
  • Lead Through Pressure ➜ Make clearer decisions when uncertainty is high.
  • Build a Winning Culture ➜ Create standards and accountability that stick.
  • Develop Future Leaders ➜ Identify, coach and grow emerging talent.
  • Respond to Setbacks ➜ Build resilience and learn faster when things don't go to plan.
