EMA Member Briefings: Spring 2025
We're delighted to launch our next Member Briefings kicking off in October, with our Advocacy and Legal teams joining you from Taupō to Kerikeri.
Description
You're invited to our next Member Briefing series kicking off in late October, with our Advocacy and Legal teams joining you from Taupō to Kerikeri.
Following record attendance in our Summer and Winter series, we're pleased to join you again to provide the latest economic, legislative, and employment law updates - reflecting on the year that was, while looking ahead to what's in store for business in 2026. These events are also a great opportunity to network with and learn from other employers and people leaders in your region.
Here's what we'll cover in this round:
- An update on the progress of key pieces of legislation for Members, including health and safety, employment relations, and the RMA
- An economic forecast, including the ongoing impacts of tariffs in the international trade environment
- An immigration update, including potential changes to residency settings, along with an overview of the vocational education and training sector and what to expect in coming months
- Employment Relations Authority and Employment Court case studies - exploring what went wrong and what you can learn from recent rulings
- We often reach capacity at each venue, so we encourage you to book now - and we look forward to seeing you soon in October.
