Day 1:
Foundations of Coaching – including the definition, importance, and benefits of coaching in management; differences between coaching, mentoring, and managing.
The GROWTH model – including an overview of the GROW model (Goal, Reality, Options, Will, Tactics, Habits); detailed explanations of each stage and examples of using this model in a managerial context.
Coaching Styles and when to use them – including different coaching styles (directive, non-directive, situational) and identifying appropriate styles based on the person and situation.
Key Competencies of Coaching – including active listening; powerful questioning; building rapport and trust; providing constructive feedback; hands-on practice through role-playing exercises.
Day 2:
Coaching for Performance – including addressing common challenges; techniques for setting and achieving performance goals; applying the GROWTH model to real-world scenarios.
Developing a Coaching Culture – including strategies for fostering a coaching culture within your organisation; encouraging continuous development and growth; implementing coaching programs and tracking progress; creating individual action plans.
