The Responsibility Matrix (RASCI) is a project management tool that clarifies the responsibilities each stakeholder has within a project. You may have been asked to complete a RASCI for a project you are working on or would like to find out more about this methodology.
The RASCI matrix is a responsibility assignment chart that maps out every task, milestone or key decision involved in completing a project and assigns which roles are Responsible for each action item, which personnel are Accountable, or who will Support the action to be completed and, where appropriate, who needs to be Consulted or Informed.
